President's Message

31 December, 2015

Dear generous donors,

On behalf of the Foundation for Water & Education, Cambodia (FWEC), I and the FWEC teams would like to thank you very much for your generous support us by enable us helping the poorest of the poor Cambodian people in the remote communities of Siem Reap. Your commitment to helping the people in need in our communities is sincerely appreciated.

Each year the FWEC continues to advance its mission of installing the water wells to provide clean water for the poor people in rural communities. Through our programs of Clean Water we have seen many lives changed for the better. By having water, they become self-sustainable by planting additional crops for a more balanced diet and create an economic opportunity by enabling the family to sell excess produce at the market.

In addition to Education program, having bicycles allows the children to make it to school much quicker and still have time to help the family in the fields. It may sound like hard burden for a child, but the whole family is aware of how having that education will help the entire family to prosper.

The goal of the FWEC is to continue to make a difference. With the help of donations from supporters like you we will continue to see improvements in our Clean Water & Education project. Thank you again for your generous support FWEC. We feel the ongoing, positive results of this endeavor will benefit our community for years to come.

We are sincerely grateful for your support. Please do not hesitate to contact me or one of our team should you have any further questions.

Funds Request for Year 2015

Dear Value Donors

I am writing you on behalf of the Foundation for Water & Education Cambodia (FWEC), a non-political group that was established in 2012.

Each year, FWEC continues to advance the cause of Health and Education by providing wells for clean water and bicycles for children to get to school. Through our program of Clean Water, we have provided over 280 wells and have seen many lives and activities changed for he better.

It is our mission to continue to identify the poor communities and families (level 1 & 2 in the government classification of the poverty), in the rural surrounds of Siem Reap, Cambodia, i.e. those who are in desperate need of clean water. In order to meet our mission and enable these poor people and their children to live a more self-sufficient and sustaiable life, we rely on the generousity of indivituals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded groups just like yours, we would not be able to help these famlies and their communities.

We would like to as "you" for your support the FWEC in the amount of US$3900 to improve the lives of the 15 families and 20 children in a community of Krouch village in the poorest rural areas around Siem Reap. Our goal with these funds is to provide each families with a well and to purchase the bicycles for the children transfer to school........ for More Details please Read on PDF on the right....

Thank you so much for your support!

Your faithfully,
Mr. Chantrea Chhuon
