In midst of March, 2012, the generous donors, Mr. Robert and Mrs. Ginger (New York, America), came to Siem Reap-Angkor the third time and they also had continued to support the "Clean Water & Education Project" (CWE Project), to help the poor people of Cambodia on donations of the wells contructions to get the clean water to drink. Last two years they had donated 10 wells construction and this year they have generous provide more 12 pump wells construction. Mr. Robert and Mrs. Ginger are the real humanitarians  always take care about the health of the poor people.

Each construction of the wells is built on the own property of a family but sharing the water with the families around the wells. The location of the well is put in Kbal Kraper villageReul commune, Puok districtSiem Reap province, which is a poorest commune in Puok district. It is not a private property but it is a public use, everyone can drink this water from the well or share with the whole community. The beneficiaries would be very happy to receive this donations because they are living on the dry region and have no clean water to drink even if in the dry season or rainy season. Cambodia is a humidity country. In the dry season everywhere dries up especially in the rural area. The ponds which they get the water from there to drink, always dries up. During this time, they have found a good way to get the water from the dug well which they dig in the depth of 2 meters deep. The water from this deep is not clean, it is a muddy water and they drink without boiling, they would get sick. But it can be survive them from thirsty.

In contras, during the rainy season the change their mind to drink the water from the rain or flooding water because everywhere is on flooding covers run under their houses even if the dug wells. They have no choice to have the clean water to drink, so their habit is drinking the muddy water or the flooding water because they are disable or less fortunate, living in the hard life in the rural area, earn their money on limited in month year, especially, the construction of a pump well is seems to be expensive for them as they are poor. They need the help.

Mr. Robert & Mrs. Ginger with their entire family are a real hamanitarians. They help those poor people in time as they were on thirsty. Thank you so much Mr. Robert, Mrs. Ginger with family that have generous support the clean water well constructions. The people around they have clean water to drink for good health and the best way is, they can plant some crops nearby the wells for sustains their livelihood and they can earn extra money from the water by selling their vegetable or crops to the market. As we know, the "water is the source of life", drink clean water for good health, have water have green.

On the behalf of a Director/Coordinator for Clean Water & Education Project (CWEP), and the Teams of CWEP, with the people of Cambodia, we are very much appreciate to your generous support the CWEP to help the poor people of Cambodia in the rural area of Siem Reap province.
