If you are planning on visiting Siam Reap I strongly recommend you complement your sight seeing of the temples with a visit to the outlying settlements. For just $200 you can leave your mark in the form of a clean water well which will be wholeheartedly appreciated by the locals. Remember this is a relatively poor country so don\'t just take as tourist but become a giver. I believe I\'m up 17 wells, but you can start with just 1. Mr Moon is a terrific tour guide and Clean Water project manager and I\'d like to think now a good friend in Cambodia. I look forward to seeing him again, for a third time, and helping out more with his clean water project. |
