In January, 2013, the Foundation for Water & Education, USA (FWEA), (Bend, Oregon, USA), have contributed the funds for supporting the Foundation for Water & Education, Cambodia (FWEC), by providing a well for the poor people in a rural village to have a clean drinking water from the deep pump well. The well is built on the own property of a family but they share the water with the other families around. Thank you so much to FWEU for your cooperation and generosity to help the poor people of Cambodia in Siem Reap rural area.
Before, they used to drink the water from the pit well which dig 2 meters deep but this water in the deep is not clean and they can get sick the stomach. In the wet season, the flooding covers their wells so they change their way to drink the rain water or flooding water which is not good for their helth. Now they got the water which can make their life to be better. They can watering their second crops, they can drink this clean water avoiding from sick the stomach because of drinking dirty water from the pit well.
Thank you again for your generous support and help the poor people who less fortunate in the rual area of Siem Reap. On behalf of a Founder/Director with all teams of FWEC and the Cambodian people, we are most appreciate of your generosity. God blessing you!
